The 360 Networks Transatlantic system is the only telecoms network linking Ireland directly to North America. Resilience is provided in the first instance by routing to the North and South of Ireland, and this is carried through by diverse routing from Baldoyle to Clonshaugh with the return route going from Clonshaugh to Sutton for the return leg to Boston and Halifax.
The company was responsible for landfall selection, identification and purchase of a building at Clonshaugh, diverse backhaul planning, route design, way leaves, administration of contracts, and project management on behalf of 360 Networks.
