Brighouse Bay Compressor Station Energy & Pipelines
The Compressor Station at Brighouse Bay in Scotland comprises 3 No. 6 MW Gas Turbines. The Turbo compressor Units were designed to be operated in series and parallel mode allowing for gas compression up to 148barg. The station is also equipped with Fiscal Flow Meters, Gas Scrubbers, Fuel Gas Skid, Fin Fan Coolers, Lube Oil Coolers, Air Intake Filters, Emergency Generators, Demineralised Water System and a Fire Water Ring Main.
The Works involved the excavation of 75,000 cubic metres of rock, the construction of a Compressor Building, Administration Block and a Services Building, together with the installation and commissioning of all equipment, associated pipework and infrastructure.
