MDM Supports New Transatlantic Cable Project – Cable Route Survey
MDM is delighted to support the development of a new transatlantic cable system with a proposed landfall in Ireland. This important infrastructure project represents a significant step forward in enhancing international connectivity and supporting future digital resilience for Ireland in particular.
From May to July 2025, the marine survey including a geophysical and geotechnical works were successfully completed along the proposed route. The work included detailed seabed mapping, environmental data collection, and technical assessments to help ensure the safe and efficient installation of the future cable system.
MDM was pleased to provide comprehensive support across several components of the project for our client.
