Subsea Cables

MDM have a track record of developing, permitting and managing subsea telecoms cable projects and other subsea infrastructure for over 30 years, building up a deep knowledge of permitting, engineering and management procedures.   

Experience includes many of the subsea telecoms cable installations connecting Ireland to the UK, the US, the Scylla system connecting the UK to the Netherlands and the IRIS system connecting Iceland to Ireland. PISCES is MDM’s most prominent system to date connecting Ireland, to Spain, Portugal, France. The team are also currently working on numerous other projects.  

MDM’s experience covers the entire project cycle for subsea cable installations. 

The company have expert in-house marine engineering & survey expertise along with dedicated project management and O&M teams.
