MDM provided services to AquaComms for the development, planning, design, permitting, procurement and installation supervision of the AEC-1 transatlantic telecoms cable from Mayo to New York which came into service in 2016. MDM were also responsible for the landfall, fronthaul and cable landing station works in Killala, Co. Mayo.
