MDM are developing the PISCES subsea telecoms cable to provide direct connectivity between Ireland, France, Spain and Portugal. The system will also tie in with other existing and proposed Transatlantic, African, South American and European systems. The cable provides diverse routing from existing systems providing European resilience along a secure deep-water route avoiding main fishing and shipping grounds. System Studies are being co-funded by the European Union with Marine Surveys planned for 2024.
